Micah Robert Gunderson is HERE!





Well I guess the Gunderson Babies do not want to come without their own unique story. We would like you all to meet our new little boy Micah Robert Gunderson. Micah came into the world on Monday March 5th at 8:21 AM. There is a very long and interesting story that i will leave to tell you in person, but he was born in the city of Virginia, MN about 100 miles south of International Falls. About 2 hours after Kyle taking his night Quill to get ride of his clod Anna woke me up telling me that her water had broke. We took off and made a very quick 100 mile trip down and made it with plenty of time to spare. Once here we had about 4 hours of labor and only about 30 Min. of pushing things got interesting in a hurry, and Anna delivered our little Guy by Emergency C-section. It was a very hard time to sit in that room by myself not knowing if either of my family members would be OK, about 2 Min later my Dad walked through the door and gave me someone to listen to me a cry on his shoulder for his 3:30 hour trip he could not have come a t a better time for me. Shortly after we prayed the nurse let us peek our heads in to hear Micah's cry he was health and happy. Born 8 LB's 4Ounces, very big for his little mom. Mom did have some troubles and lost a lot of blood and need to have continuing care, she needed a blood transfusion and received 2 packets of blood to help bring her back up to low numbers, it took about 4 more hours for Anna and us to be united and for her to see more than just pic of her little Micah. She is now doing well and baby is eating great and sleeping, has great color and they are both recovering well. We would love to tell you the whole story but i would die trying to type it all. Please pray for Anna to continue to heal well and be able to recover fast. Andrew made it down today as well with the help of some friends from Church to see his little brother and he gave him his first of many kisses when the met. Congratulations on your handsome little boy! We are interested to hear the rest of the story but we are so glad to hear that baby, mom, dad and older brother are all doing well. We are thinking and praying for you as Anna recovers and as you adjust to having another little one around. We love you guys! God Bless.

He's beautiful! Just perfect! So glad to hear that both Anna & Micah are doing well and are healthly! What a blessing! Can't wait to meet this new little addition to the Gundy family. May God bless you beyond what you could have imagined now with Micah and Drew. Know that we will continue to pray for all of you as you adjust to this new family of yours and for a speedy recovery. Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
