Micah Robert Gunderson is HERE!





Well I guess the Gunderson Babies do not want to come without their own unique story. We would like you all to meet our new little boy Micah Robert Gunderson. Micah came into the world on Monday March 5th at 8:21 AM. There is a very long and interesting story that i will leave to tell you in person, but he was born in the city of Virginia, MN about 100 miles south of International Falls. About 2 hours after Kyle taking his night Quill to get ride of his clod Anna woke me up telling me that her water had broke. We took off and made a very quick 100 mile trip down and made it with plenty of time to spare. Once here we had about 4 hours of labor and only about 30 Min. of pushing things got interesting in a hurry, and Anna delivered our little Guy by Emergency C-section. It was a very hard time to sit in that room by myself not knowing if either of my family members would be OK, about 2 Min later my Dad walked through the door and gave me someone to listen to me a cry on his shoulder for his 3:30 hour trip he could not have come a t a better time for me. Shortly after we prayed the nurse let us peek our heads in to hear Micah's cry he was health and happy. Born 8 LB's 4Ounces, very big for his little mom. Mom did have some troubles and lost a lot of blood and need to have continuing care, she needed a blood transfusion and received 2 packets of blood to help bring her back up to low numbers, it took about 4 more hours for Anna and us to be united and for her to see more than just pic of her little Micah. She is now doing well and baby is eating great and sleeping, has great color and they are both recovering well. We would love to tell you the whole story but i would die trying to type it all. Please pray for Anna to continue to heal well and be able to recover fast. Andrew made it down today as well with the help of some friends from Church to see his little brother and he gave him his first of many kisses when the met. Congratulations on your handsome little boy! We are interested to hear the rest of the story but we are so glad to hear that baby, mom, dad and older brother are all doing well. We are thinking and praying for you as Anna recovers and as you adjust to having another little one around. We love you guys! God Bless.

He's beautiful! Just perfect! So glad to hear that both Anna & Micah are doing well and are healthly! What a blessing! Can't wait to meet this new little addition to the Gundy family. May God bless you beyond what you could have imagined now with Micah and Drew. Know that we will continue to pray for all of you as you adjust to this new family of yours and for a speedy recovery. Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Big Bro Twin Cities Champion/Little Sis Big Woods 1/2 Marathon Champion

My brother and I are the crazy runners in our family! We took on the Twin Cities Marathon challenge on October 7th and trained like mad to get ready for the event. We began the morning feeling great and ready to take on the challenge before us, yet not knowing only one of us would finish. Ben was taking on his first marathon and was looking forward to finishing and enjoying this wild adventure! I however have done a few of these already and was aimed to kick some butt in the process. So, different goals, but the same idea in mind-lets run the race for Christ. The race did not go as planned for me. The weather was extremely hot and humid and it totally took over my body. All I can really remember is thinking, "Wow it is really hot and I am really sweating!" With little to drink I passed out at mile 10 of the marathon! Wolf River White Water Rafting Youth Trip!

We were able to start the tradition of taking the International Falls youth to the great Wolf River. We took a great group of kids who did not know what to expect and drove the 10 hours to the river. We spend 2 days rafting and then hit the road for home. The students and leaders had a great time navigating the rapids themselves, flipping a boat or two and of course the water falls were a huge hit. U had the opportunity to sit down at the camp fire and one day in our boat with some of the students who do not regularly come to our ministry and talk about the relationship with Christ. These discussions where by far the highlight of my trip, getting to encourage students in their faith and hear the testimony about how they came to know the Lord was just awesome. Our first night it rained more than i have ever seen, and most of our tents stayed dry.
