Visit to International Falls!!!

 What a blessing it was to head back to International Falls, MN and see so many faces of people that we love so much!! It was so fun to hear how everyone was doing and seeing all the kids that have grown up so much!! Two years makes everyone look older!!! Kyle and I took a beautiful drive along our favorite Rainy Lake and I love this picture taken right in Ranier! Nothing can replace this beautiful place or these beautiful people. This picture represents both to me!
 We have been praying for this amazing couple for a few years now, that God would help them grow in love for Him and each other. So special to be apart of Mike and Megan's wedding day!!! A day that begins a life of new adventures!!! So happy for you two!!!

So thankful that Mike gave Kyle a call to do the wedding!! He was thrilled and honored to be apart of leading this special day!!
 Megan's mom Debbie did an outstanding job setting up for the reception!! It was a true party and EVERYTHING her daughter had dreamed of for her wedding day!! What an amazing mom!!!
 BONUS!!!! I had the chance to spend time with this incredible friend....Laura:) I will always love this girl's simple spirit. I miss her friendship as we now live miles apart, but we are hoping as the kids get older it will open up new opportunities for us to meet up in Duluth!!! I miss our days at the park, playing in the church parking lot, watching our kids play and practice riding bikes, celebrating birthdays.....the list goes on!! 3 girls...4 boys... who knows where our future will lead us...even miles apart:)
 A wonderful weekend staying at Wes and Lynn Peterson's house!! We were so blessed to be able to spend time with them this weekend. They have become family to us as they have loved on us and our boys so much!! One very special weekend!!! Kyle and I feel truly blessed to have served God in International Falls. A season of our life we will never forget!!!!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
