Off to a great start~

It's been a crazy busy start to our fall season, but so far we are in full swing and the boys are loving it! Take a peak at all our smiles!
 Jake has ventured to preschool this school year, and this week finally started going for the full time-9-11:15am, Tuesdays and Thursdays. His favorite things so far are playing outside with his friends and playing trucks. I think it sounds like SUCCESS!
Our bubba man is just starting to feel the effects of going to school, playing soccer, starting up piano lessons and heading to Awana on Wednesday nights. This boy crashes after mommy and daddy kisses at night. Miss his smile during the school day...
These 2boys keep us on our toes. They are NEVER TIRED (of course), and are pretty sure they go to bed way too early! At 8p on school nights, these 2 come up with ANYTHING to stay up a little bit longer-thirsty, saw a spider, have sore toes, too hot, need a hug...and the list goes on. Kyle and I are usually the most exhausted at the end of the day bc of these 2 jokesters.

During the week we have soccer practice for Micah, and basketball will be starting for Drew. Saturday mornings we are at the football field watching flag football, and in the afternoons watching Micah play soccer. They had their 1st home game last weekend! Micah did awesome. Traveling baseball tryouts are on Saturday! Along with Caleb, they are taking piano lessons and going to Awana on Wednesday nights. Its been fun to see Andrew with his bible open in the mornings doing his Awana assignment and memory work. Thankful the boys have taken Awana. It has really given them a desire to learn more about God and God's word.

We are off to a great start! Kyle and I love the craziness and know that we are only beginning to really understand what CRAZY looks like with 4 boys all growing and becoming more involved in sports and community activities.

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
