Caleb~

I wanted to pause a moment in the everyday chaos to write this blog about Caleb James. He is our 3rd son, who brings a special sweetness to our family that all of us adore. His smile anytime of day brightens up our whole house. We love his new look with his new glasses this year and its even better when he looks at us with his glasses all foggy! Caleb always brings Happiness to our day because he makes life simple. Life in his world is full of giggles, snuggles, playing with brothers, being tickled by daddy, reading lots of books with mommy and soaking up whatever kindle time he can get his hands on. In this last month, Kyle and I wanted to capture a few moments to never forget with our bubba boy this fall. We couldn't be more proud of who God made him to be.
Caleb has been showing off his mad math skills with us. He has math fact worksheets that he brings home and likes when daddy sits right by him.  Love that little smile as he is proving to dad he is one smart dude!
Caleb and I spend time reading a few books everyday after school. He has his daily WEB reading and then we've been tackling the Junie B. Jones books together before he goes to bed. Incredibly proud of his reading!!! Its been really fun reading these books with him because they are really funny and we laugh together a lot. Caleb, you are so smart and so much fun!!
Our family loves Caleb up to pieces! So many times we all find ourselves giving or getting great big hugs from Caleb and hearing him tell us how much he loves us. Caleb you have a heart of Gold! We are so blessed by you everyday. Never stop living life loving others with all you got. It is the greatest gift you can give away! We love you Caleb!

Just after finishing this blog, Caleb decided that it was the perfect time for him to ask Jesus into his heart! We are all rejoicing with him this week!

Caleb James Gunderson's Christian birthday is December 7, 2015.

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
