Blessed beyond measure.  Our top 5 for 2017: Celebrating 15!    February:  Kyle and I had a wonderful vacation to Punta Cana celebrating our 15th anniversary together. The time together was so wonderful! It is such a treat for us to travel anywhere together! So glad we could get away to celebrate! Spring Break + Birthday Celebrating!  March:  Spring break spent in northern Minnesota was a highlight for us! The boys had fun ice skating, swimming in the outdoor pools, watching movies by dads fires in the fireplace, games, good food, and hiking in the snow were such wonderful memories of Spring Break 2017!  Camping Trip!  July: So many laughs and memories come from our outdoor camping experiences. As we get closer and closer to Christmas day, we have had so much fun celebrating many things this month. Here are some December highlights we haven't blogged about yet! Our church held a fun family event to learn more about the story of Jesus birth and spend time together! Our children's ministry is so fantastic and these teachers just know exactly how to reach children for Christ. Such a fun day learning about Jesus! We all made our own mangers! The kids had a fun time with this and it was a great memory maker for all of us.  Thankful for a wonderful church family.   Micah's D.A.R.E. graduation day! I can not believe he is in 5th grade already?!?!  Proud of you man.... now no drugs for you!!!  Caleb, Jacob, and I decided to go see the movie "Star" it was a great date night for the 3 of us while the other boys were at basketball practice. We are so thankful Grandma and grandpa Stegeman are living in Columbia Heights now!! It has been so much fun to stop in and see them! Take a peak at our 1st visit bringing the boys with. Caleb warmed right up to Grandma and loved pushing her around. I love his bubba smile. It’s the smile that says his heart is feeling so good. 😊I love Caleb’s heart for others, especially his family. You are the sweetest my man. Whole group shot! It was so special reconnecting the boys to their great grandparents. How lucky they are to enjoy these moments with them. Listening to them laugh and talk to us and see how they move around and where they live was so fascinating to the boys. So many observations afterwards was really sweet and fun. These are some of the coolest pics from last weekends basketball tournament in St Croix Central!  We lost the 1st game but had some great defense. Elk Mound was just a stronger team. It was our first game of the season so the boys had some warm up to do. Winning the next 2 games put the boys in 2nd place overall. Pretty nice for the 1st tournament!! Drew’s team has 4 more tournament weekends after Christmas! It’s going to be a fun season to cheer for!! They’re getting taller and bigger and the talent is greatly improving! Thankful. I have no other words to describe our past week together. Kyle and I enjoyed the days spent at home with our boys doing small, simple things here in town. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and enjoyed a nice relaxing day with GG and Nana. I am so thankful for our simple life and our week spent with the ones we love so much. It was beyond special!  Here is our family turkey pic!! It was fun to spend the evening before Thanksgiving day with our church family! So blessed!  The fam showed up in time to watch the Vikes game and start up some holiday crafts with grandma and grandpa! Leona and Lila Kate were very busy making their snowmen. Love them to pieces!  The ladies made these cute candles! Kaylee had so much fun and it was fun visiting together as we were crafting! Life is good when you get to pull out of the driveway with your best friend and 4 amazing boys to escape for a few days and have some fun! We had an incredible time away as a family this week in the dells at Kalahari. We all agree it is our new favorite place to go! Drew and Micah enjoyed time away together messin' around and had fun racing each other on the slides! We always say that no matter what, brothers stick together! We showed up each morning at 8:45 to get personal lessons on surfing and the boys really started to get a handle on it. It was fun to watch and we took loads of videos the boys had fun watching later. Even Kyle really got into it and enjoyed showing off some fun tricks! I love watching him relax and play with the boys. One of my favorite reasons in getting him away! Jman had fun too in his own style and loved feeling apart of the boys!
