Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

The weather was incredibly warm and just right for some fun on the lake this weekend!! It was a jump in the water or be miserably hot kind of weekend!!!☀️ Our first wakeboard runs on Menomin!!  **May 26th was our official 1st jump in the lake day for 2018!! I like to take note of when the water was decent enough for the first swim!  Drew had some fun and it was so great to see him relaxing and enjoying time on the water.  Mountain Dew & Muscles!! Cutest smile all weekend! It felt awesome to have a little break from baseball and basketball and play in the water together! The boys had a blast together. Jake’s 1st wake boarding magic of the season!! Caleb took a turn driving the boat!! He looked so happy sitting with Dad.  Our big guy loving the lake and being on the water. These boys are so much fun to hang out with!!! It was a perfect Memorial weekend for Us!!☀️ Summer, we are so ready for you!!! School Countdown is totally ON!!!😄

Caleb was so excited to pick up his new bike last Wednesday at the end of the school day!! It was fun to come home to see him biking up and down the street on his new bike!! Can’t even believe our guy is going to be 9 years old in a few weeks!! 🚲  The spring piano recital went great!! The boys wore their baseball jersey ⚾️and basketball warmups🏀to the program as our night was packed with activities! Fun to hear them play! Hoping Micah will stick with piano as he heads into his middle school years. The boys do such a great job. The biking adventure with Micahs grade was really fun on Friday! Kyle and I rode our trek bikes up to school and helped Mr Wigdahl take kids who wanted to ride around the lake and stop for a picnic lunch on a fun bike trip! It was a great time and fun to spend time with Micah. Friday afternoon we scooped up Caleb and friends from school for a fun birthday celebration here at the house. BIG weekend 4 Us!!!! We’ve been working maniacs to improve some things at home plus spring cleaning before our summer days begin!! Check.It.Out!! New Carpet in the Living room!  Little guys bedroom redone! Twins theme update!! Look at that brand new carpet! Guest room complete! Kyle rearranged our room and surprised me for Mother’s Day with a storage bench and new mirror. It looks so great! I love these pics with all of our foot prints in the carpet as we were busy enjoying our new carpet and remodel!! Looks so great and feels so soft on our toes. Grandpa and Grandma came out and helped us finish it up with a beautiful new entryway flooring and we washed the windows! Finished entryway!! We are so ready for you SUMMER!! We got all our work done so now it’s time for sunshine, popsicles and PLAY TIME!! ☀️☀️ Yes, and more basketball!!🏀😄 But first, we gotta finish up school....ugh!

So fun to go cheer for Micah at his track and field event last week! He is enjoying these last few weeks of school before saying goodbye to elementary school! The weather was beautiful and Micah had so much fun with friends from all schools in town.  Micah and his buddy Grant from church were put in the same group and they had fun hanging out for the day together!!  Micah we love you so much. You are growing up so fast and we couldn’t be more proud of who God made you to be. We are proud of you for standing up for your faith, being bold to stand alone this year, and being a leader in your grade. It was really fun to see you enjoy being with your friends and for your excitement in meeting other 5th graders you will go to school with next year!  The Lord will never leave you or forsake you Micah. You are not alone in your walk with Him. You have been a light in some tough darkness at school this year and Dad and I admire you for your leadership in it all.☀️God will reward you for your pe

It was packed. I mean I don’t think we could have squeezed any more sport games/events into one weekend!! Such a blast all around on Mother’s Day weekend but wowza we were tired by Sunday night- here goes! Saturday morning I raced in the Get It Dunn half marathon! So much fun running in my hometown. It was a great race, finishing 2nd place female and completing it in just under 90minutes. I’ll be back next year for sure! It comes at a nice time in my training block.  Micah played in a basketball tournament in Eagan Mn both Saturday and Sunday. They played some tough teams but had a great time as a team! This was my view on Mother’s Day!! I had so much fun cheering for Micah!!! 🏀  So nice to see Terri on Mother’s Day! I love being able to give hugs to our fabulous moms on this day! And she is one special lady! Thankful for my mom. I’m so glad I am blessed with such a wonderful mom who is always willing to listen and visit on the phone each and everyday. Fills our days with school field trips and concerts, baseball practices and games, getting a chance to ride our bikes and enjoy time together outside. Spring is such a gift after long winters! These days have been very full for Kyle and I as we keep up with the daily schedules and highlights for each of our guys. Here’s a few of our highlights lately- Jacob had his first school concert!! The Disney theme was a hit and Jacob did so well at his speaking part!! These programs always make me smile! It is so fun to listen to the songs and watch all the kids sing and perform.They were all so cute!!! Especially our Jman. I just can’t hardly believe this school year is wrappin’ up!! We had a blast with Nana and GG last weekend at our churches Run4Water race raising money for our mission trips!
