Quarantine January

Yep. Totally started the year off with a BANG!!💥 COVID style. Looking back on it now, it all worked out but man it was a bummer 4 Us.

How did you all get Quarantined, you ask?? Let me tell ya!

Drew- he was in close contact during basketball practice w a player who tested positive, sadly the team had to all quarantine and hold off on playing for two weeks, plus no going to school.

Micah went sledding with some friends, who tested positive for COVID and had to also quarantine for two weeks.

Caleb sneezed in class 🤧 and was immediately sent home bc of one symptom but also bc the other two brothers were home, they sent him home. Thankfully after getting Caleb tested, and having negative results, he can go back to school tomorrow.

Jake was sent home bc Caleb sneezed 🤧 and could have COVID. Total craziness!! Since Caleb tested negative, he is set to go back to school tomorrow as well.

Kyle and I are living in the same house as these four, so we tried our best to stay sane and enjoy this time with them. 🤪

The beginning of 2021 has looked a little bit like this for us...

Ice skating! We have really enjoyed our new outdoor rink and it was so much fun watching Kyle and Drew play some hockey together.

Family walks have been really fun and at times hard when the boys argue about something really stupid, for the most part fun though! 😉

Braces! Micah got his braces put on before he was put on quarantine, and he is doing really well with them! I think he looks really great too.
Running+ Snow angels on lake Menomin my little escape from home and fun adventure! I’ll definitely be back!

More ice skating +bonfire on Friday morning when we had the place to ourselves. So nice to skate together!

Sledding in Eau Claire was fun too, and nice to leave town for an afternoon.

We have made the best of our quarantine days, but really hoping to return to our mostly normal routine soon. Not the way we wanted to start off the new year BUT it turned out to be okay, and gave us some more time to laugh, play cards, do a few more puzzles, argue some, sleep more, and watch some more funny YouTube videos!!❄️We are healthy and that’s what I’m most thankful for.❤️
