Christmas break😁+ HNY!!🎉🥳2021 begins!!!

 We have had such a wonderful Christmas break as a family. So thankful for so much quality time with my crew. Tomorrow the kids and Kyle jump back into our normal routine, and I’m feeling a little sad to see our break come to an end, but before it does, check out what we were up to!😁🎄❤️

❄️ Loved time on the lake with kyle. We took a few walks out on the lake over break, so pretty and fun! I decided I need to lace up my Altra running shoes and go out on the lake in January for some easy miles while the lake is super frozen!

❄️ These boys are growing up so fast! The lake was so smooth and shiny without the snow yet. Great photo of our growing boys on skates.
❄️ Drew and Kyle had to head back for some basketball practices and they got pizza! We were so jealous, it looked amazing. Drew’s face cracks me up!😆
❄️ I really enjoy being outside, getting fresh air, and playing with the boys! Lots of outside time over break.
❄️ Bonfire on the lake with the boys! They had fun ice skating around the fire.

❄️ Not all days over break were sunshine and blue skies, this day was a cloudy one but we still had fun.
❄️ Lots of hot cocoa and games!

❄️ Hiking with grandma and grandpa was fun too.
❄️ More ice skating in the cities...
❄️ We went sledding back at home! Got some great speed on the hills, so fun to spend time with friends.
❄️ New Years Eve was spent with some of our hockey friends. They have a skating rink in their backyard! We enjoyed a taco bar around 11:30 to ring in the year year together after skating and hanging out by the bonfire. It was a fun night with friends. Thankful for the community of people God has surrounded us with here in Menomonie! We have an amazing village.
2021 is Officially Here and we are so Excited for-

Wow how time flies! we are amazed that our little guy is already two. It seems like just yesterday that he was born and we were spending all of out time looking at him in his crib and playing with him on the floor. Now he is a real boy. Running around, kicking the football, cheering for touchdowns, and tackling his brother. Andrew brings us such joy as he is always laughing and smiling and thinking of new and creative ways to use all of his toys. We are all enjoying our fall, with trips to the cities and a Pastors retreat, jumping in to the leaves, and cool night walks we love this time of year. Big Bro Twin Cities Champion/Little Sis Big Woods 1/2 Marathon Champion

My brother and I are the crazy runners in our family! We took on the Twin Cities Marathon challenge on October 7th and trained like mad to get ready for the event. We began the morning feeling great and ready to take on the challenge before us, yet not knowing only one of us would finish. Ben was taking on his first marathon and was looking forward to finishing and enjoying this wild adventure! I however have done a few of these already and was aimed to kick some butt in the process. So, different goals, but the same idea in mind-lets run the race for Christ. The race did not go as planned for me. The weather was extremely hot and humid and it totally took over my body. All I can really remember is thinking, "Wow it is really hot and I am really sweating!" With little to drink I passed out at mile 10 of the marathon! My time at that point was 1 hour 7 minutes..... on track for an amazing marathon. Truly discouraged I attempted to get back in the race to pass out AGAIN at mil...

Wolf River White Water Rafting Youth Trip!

We were able to start the tradition of taking the International Falls youth to the great Wolf River. We took a great group of kids who did not know what to expect and drove the 10 hours to the river. We spend 2 days rafting and then hit the road for home. The students and leaders had a great time navigating the rapids themselves, flipping a boat or two and of course the water falls were a huge hit. U had the opportunity to sit down at the camp fire and one day in our boat with some of the students who do not regularly come to our ministry and talk about the relationship with Christ. These discussions where by far the highlight of my trip, getting to encourage students in their faith and hear the testimony about how they came to know the Lord was just awesome. Our first night it rained more than i have ever seen, and most of our tents stayed dry.
