Bubba day!😄

Monday was Bubba day! We started our day at Dunkin’ Donuts because Caleb had two coupons for free donuts with the purchase of a drink.😀 hot cocoa and a coffee for us, found those amazing orange chairs and settled in for some great conversation, just us. So much that is on his mind lately is baseball and his season ahead, so we talked all things baseball and positions, gear and tournaments ahead. I loved every moment with him. 


Next up, we looked up some new cookie recipes and decided on a brownie peanut butter chip cookie that looked delicious! They turned out great! 

We stopped at Dunham’s,one of Calebs favorite places to splurge and we looked at all the baseball stuff, knowing we needed compression shorts and baseball bat tape! He is set for his game tonight. ⚾️ 
Then, we took a long route on our bikes to get a fun ride in together before heading to lunch at Culver’s, his favorite lunch spot!
Back home to play games together, this one is Pass the Pigs, one we hadn’t played in awhile. Bubba is so easy to spend time with, grateful for the little things and loves quality time. (He’s a lot like his momma)
Hopped in the hot tub before the brothers came home from school! ....and talked a little more about baseball 😉

Bubba day was fantastic! We talked all day long about everything and anything, laughed about silly things, and smiled the whole time.😁 I hope I get another Bubba day again soon, he’s super fun to hang out with! Love you Caleb James! 11years old, Bubba day 2021❤️

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
