Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

School's Out FOR SUMMER!!!! We are ALL so excited to take a little break from our school routine and have time to be a family and enjoy this great summer weather and activities together!! Of course our family discussions revolve around when we can get out on our boat and do some wake boarding!! :) Last day of school picnic is so fun because we get to eat Little Caeser pizza as a family and give our teachers lots of hugs and say thank you!!! We have loved ALL of our teachers at Oaklawn and sometimes we feel a little teary saying goodbye. Kyle and I are so thankful for teachers who love our boys and love them for who they are and challenge them to grow into smart, respectful boys!! See you in a few months Oaklawn! It's that time of year again when great school activities come to an end. Both Andrew and Micah took  piano lessons this year. This was Andrew's second year and he has really improved and is so fun to listen to. Micah has really grasped the understanding of reading music and learning the basics. We have really enjoyed listening to the boys practice at home this year. Both boys have decided to take lessons again next year and we are thrilled! They did awesome at their recital! So proud of you guys! Grandpa and Grandma made a special surprise appearance at the piano recital! We were all so excited they took the time to come see us and be apart of the boys' special performance night! Drew and Micah were grinning ear to ear!! :) Our boys LOVE Awana on Wednesday nights. We are so proud of our guys for working so hard on memorizing Gods word and receiving such honorable prizes for all their hard work! Way to go boys!! Caleb finished his second year of Cubbies...

One of my favorite memories with my boys these last few years has been the end of school year field trips! I love spending time with each boy, their friends and their amazing teachers.  The Environmental Site Andrew and I went to the Environmental Site with his class and our favorite part to the entire day was catching tadpoles together! They were everywhere!! I loved watching Drew with this net! He kept slapping it into the water and pulling out tons of tadpoles. His smile told me how special our time together was. :) Como Zoo Micah and I enjoyed a day at Como Zoo together with one of his favorite buddies, Ainsley. These two are so silly ALL of the time!!! A great weekend away in Georgia! Orange Conference 2014 Kyle and Andy Stanley  "Amazing leaders" Leaving a legacy...powerful weekend Time with my favorite person in the whole world!!! Enjoying some kidless time!! What a blessing to get away and refresh! Thank you Lord for time away to learn new ideas in parenting and ministry....and quality time with Kyle. We finally got a feel for some awesome summer weather over Memorial weekend! The boys were pumped to get into the boat and enjoy the warm sun and water fun as a family!! This was our first time out to test the boat and make sure all was running smoothly! It worked great!! Brought the boat back home to wash and clean it and get it loaded with snacks, drinks and towels!!  Drew's favorite activity as a family is to have us all on the boat being together. He loves being on the water all the time, any time of day! Caleb is easing in slowly to boat life. He loves going tubing and getting on the lily pad (our newest addition) and beginning to enjoy the sport of skiing.
