Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

One of my favorite months of the year is February! Not because of the cold weather but because its a fun time to remind all these boys in my house how much I love them.   Kyle brought these beautiful flowers home for me and I loved all the pink! I smiled all day with these in my kitchen. Makes me hope summer is on its ways soon!  Jake and I have been enjoying our days together. We found out it was National Pizza Day and thought we'd pretend we owned a pizza shop! We had lots of fun making and eating pizzas together. We even had Bailey give our pizzas a try!  Loved every minute going to Jake's preschool Valentine party! He always wants me to play with the trucks but I tried to steer him to do a few crafts with me. We maybe did crafts for 2 minutes, but I loved it!  Fun morning with you Jaker's!  Jake and I took off ice skating for the afternoon and had a blast! We made up our own races and played follow the leader...love love love spending ti...

What a great basketball season for Drew this year! We had a blast cheering for him and his team. He played 6 tournaments total with 3 tournaments considered "competitive" and they took 2nd place at each tournament. Take a peak at Drew's basketball season... Drew is always listening to his coaches and really works hard on the court.  Drew doesn't lack confidence and is willing to pass off the ball or take it in for a lay up. Love that quality about him. He doesn't look to be the star, but looks at the overall play and makes the best call. Drew shoots free throws like a pro! 2nd place! The team always looked so tired after the full day of games. Grandpa and grandma joined us at Drew's home tournament and brought doughnuts!! Super Yummy! Drew, we are so proud of you and your character. It is such a joy to watch you play basketball because we know how much you love this sport! Chillin' between games...  What ...

Dad retired from working 38 years at Coke on December 30th, 2015. Ben, Jesse and I were so proud of our dad and wanted to surprise him by showing up at his work "goodbye" party!  It was a really special afternoon for the original 5 Excited for the many new adventures that lie ahead for him. I am thankful to have such a great relationship with my dad and really look forward to spending more time with him. ALL of Us Celebrate! We had a really fun winter day in January celebrating grandpa as a whole family! Check it out! Bubba pulled out his snowboard madness for us! Drew is the toughest kid ever refusing a scarf over his face when the temps were below zero. But that smile warms me right up! Aunt Kara and Lila Kate! This boy cracks me up with how brave he was, sledding right down the hill to the creek to hang with cousin Micah...sounds like trouble! grandp...

Kyle and I had so much fun getting away for a few days to celebrate our 14th anniversary. We went to one of our favorite spots to sneak away together, the north shore! This overlook was taken on our first hike of the week called Britton Peak. We really enjoyed taking our time talking and being together. Often we'd look at each other and say, "It's so great that we love being together!" Although we think about the boys while we're away, we really have a blast just the 2 of us! I feel so blessed to have married my greatest friend. The one who knows me and loves me more then any other. It was so pretty hiking in the woods together and the weather wasn't too cold! Love this guy soooo much! It was really pretty how narrow the river had gotten on the Caribou trail. Thankful that our love for each other is unconditional. That we help each other through the tough stuff in life and are each others biggest fans in reaching our goals and dreams in life....

Before heading into the new year, we wanted to list our Top 5 Favorite family Events in 2015~ Exploring downtown Chicago together!  Heading to Duluth camping the day school got out!  Going to Webb lake!  Being with family and friends at the cabin! Spending time together at Wisconsin Dells! 2015 has been an AWESOME year of growing closer together as a family.  Kyle and I are enjoying the many memories we are building with our 4 boys. Lord, thank you for being so good to us.  Welcome 2016!!!
