Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

Wednesday We took off on our " 5 Great Lakes in 5 Days + Niagara Falls Destination!!"  @ 6:30am Wednesday morning, August 28th. Grandma and Grandpa joined us too! We picked up our RV around 8a and loaded all our luggage and food before heading out. We drove all the way to Munising, Michigan where we stayed right on Lake Superior. The guys were excited to jump in Lake Superior #1 Great Lake -  the water was chilly but these guys didn’t hesitate, got it done! ✅ It took us some time to get into RV living and it was a little rough figuring it all out at first. Like how to put out the beds, where all the blankets were, how to flush the toilet, using the sink, learning that I needed to remove the stove cover before cooking noodles (oops!) 💥, and moving in a small space all 8 of us! After this first day though, things began to flow a bit more and we began feeling like RV pros!  Pizza pies and s’mores for supper was a hit our first night! Boys really liked the pepperon...

Every now and then I sneak away from all my guys and enjoy some special time out doing "girl" things!! I had a great night out with one of my greatest friends, Amy. We celebrated her turning 39! Whoop!! It was a really special night together.  Lysa TerKeurst is one of our favorite christian authors who was speaking at River Valley Church, Apple Valley.  We decided to purchase tickets so we could see her live, and I am so glad we did. It was really good. I especially loved how real and vulnerable Lysa spoke about the depth of forgiveness. I look forward to her next book coming out! I so enjoy learning and growing closer to God through these conferences with Amy. I hope we do another one this fall together! I am also thankful for her friendship in my life and how we help encourage one another at home with our family, but also in God's word to bring us closer in our understanding of who He is. Blessed!

We left Jesse and Sarah's church after lunch on Sunday and headed to the lake for one night, before heading to LBBC for the week. We enjoyed having some more time on the water and soaking in some beautiful weather! It is feeling a little more like fall, but the temps feel so nice!  One of our favorite places on earth! We so enjoyed a few extra moments together at the lake. Off to Lake Beauty Bible Camp!  We so enjoyed 3 days to rest, relax and enjoy time with our church staff. I’m so grateful to call Cedarbrook our home church. I am always so blown away at the people God brings into His house to serve on staff. I so enjoyed my time with two fantastic ladies specifically that work hand in hand with Kyle each and everyday. Michelle and LeAnn💕💕Lord, you have blessed Cedarbrook in a huge way. Saturday morning we woke up and slowly pulled together our stuff to head out for a week. Our first stop, Fergus Falls!! We made it in just under 4hours, we thought that was pretty good! Happy 1st birthday Clara! Fun to see her look around and see all the people who love her most. She is so loved.   My goddaughters! So blessed by these girls. The next morning we went to Cornerstone church and the pastor did a really nice job dedicating Clara. It was a special morning! So sweet to watch my boys around little girls, especially their cousins. I love this pic of Drew, the oldest cousin, and Clara our youngest cousin. Family. Gods greatest gift. 

Jake loved every Monday and Wednesday because those were the days of baseball. He was always so excited to go play and be with his friends! It was a really fun season of baseball, lots of parents cheering and great snacks after the game!  Jake and Easton, best friends. And Kypton too!  The whole team together! Jake was a great hitter and fielder this season. Most importantly though, he was an excellent teammate. Nice work Jake!

So where my heart is.  With the people I love the most. My goal for Summer 2019 was to design the summer with no regrets. ❤️ Be present. Love fully. 

Valley-fair + at the lake with family= Wonderful Memories!! We had so much fun together! It was a wonderful weekend to play with our kids and each other. I love Kyle more and more when we get out and just laugh and play together! I told him someday when our boys are grown up, I still want him and I to head to Valley fair together for the day! It is just so much fun to go on roller coasters!! I love the rush and thrill of being brave enough to get on a super scary ride! I will always remember going on the Monster Swings with Kyle and the boys this year because I screamed the WHOLE time!! Haha! I'm sure they will never forget it too! Crazy mom on the swings! The lake was fantastic and the boys were wet from bouncing between the lake and the hot tub a million times! They love the water and never tire of being on the lake.  We are home and enjoying a Sunday afternoon of rest and relaxing.
