Spring Break

These dudes are so incredibly fun to hang out with! Even though we just chilled around home over most of Spring Break, we had a blast!!!
My Spring Break Junkies! We love going to the gas station and getting treats. It's really fun watching the boys walk around trying to decide what to get...and these choices don't surprise me one bit!
Movie time! Zootopia was super good!
My parents offered to take the boys to spend some special time with them over spring break. This worked out really well because Kyle and I purchased a new boat and drove all the way to Fremont Wisconsin to pick it up. It took us most of the day and we were glad the boys were having lots of fun with grandma and grandpa while we were doing that.

When we got home we decided to stretch our legs a bit and go for a run together! So nice to have some time together.

Dad took them to Cabela's for a fun guys day!
And spoiled them rotten with Shamrock shakes and fishing supplies!
Mom and dad also had fun taking the boys and cousin Logan to the Coon Rapids Dam. This tree looks super neat to climb! Glad they didn't fall in the river!



Kyle's 35th birthday was on March 18th, and we enjoyed spending most of the day together in the cities. We had a great lunch at BDubs watching basketball and bummin' around together before going to pick up the boys at my parents. My mom and dad love celebrating us on our birthdays and made Kyle his recommended Brats supper with white cake for dessert.  So Yummy!
Happy Birthday Sweetheart. We all love you so much!!!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
