Caleb's Fun Spring!

What a special Spring it has been with Caleb! He makes Kyle and I smile everyday because he is one super sweet boy. Check out some fun memories we've had with our almost 2nd grader!
It was the "Year in Review" for Caleb's 1st grade class and Caleb did a great job reading Mays poem for the month!
After  the program we ate cookies and punch together and visited with his friends.
Caleb totally ROCKS the coolness factor in our boat. He is total chill man AND doesn't hesitiate to take on a challenge when given one- 1st Boy to jump  in the lake this year! Slushie Winner!!
Caleb James has so much fun playing soccer on Saturday mornings. We love cheering him on and keeping score of the games even though they keep saying "We're all winners!"
This Gcrew knows better,  and Caleb likes knowing who really won. :) 
We are super fond of Caleb's coach, Coach Nacho! He is a really good coach for Caleb and we feel so lucky to have had him for Micah and Caleb's soccer experiences.

Caleb's Birthday Bash!
 Although this dude doesn't actually turn 7 until June 15th, we decided to have his friend soccer/water balloon party early! The weather couldn't have been better and these boys had a BLAST!
 Caleb's friends are just a tad bit competitive like his bros so it was really fun watching these boys play together.

 Caleb has such nice friends who are super sweet, silly, crazy, and think Caleb is one cool man. Such thoughtful gifts and kind words they encouraged Caleb with that afternoon.
 Cupcake time! Can't believe we are celebrating 7 ALREADY!! Happy Birthday Caleb!!!
The weather was so hot we had to include the day with some water balloon action and chaos before sending all the boys home. Super Wet and Lots of Smiles and Giggles!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
