CPBC!!

The last few weeks we have been rockin' camp life at Covenant Pines Bible Camp!! We all decided there's no better camp then this beautiful place! The first week started out with our big guys heading out on the bus and diving into a fun filled week with each other, friends and God! The second week the rest of our crew drove up to meet the boys and spent the week as a family chillin' together while Kyle spoke to the high school group! Great setup for us this year and after you look at the pics you will see why we want to go back next year! Summer is flying but the memories are soaking in our hearts and the time together has been incredible. Lots of pics on this blog,  so enjoy!!
Week 1 Trailblazer Camp
These smiles shout how excited they are to head to camp!! Love you mom, see ya!!!
Here is the Meatloaf cabin!! (that was their cabin name this sumer) The boys enjoyed their counselor Milo and Drew a ton!! Milo is the one wearing the ear muffs...fabulous idea with this group!
Week 2 Family time+Kyle Speaks at Camp
Quiet mornings enjoying some water time. The weather was gorgeous!

We joined a group during cabin time on the rope swing! This is Micah!
 Here's Drew!

Our days led to lots of swimming time in the afternoons.
Chapel was a favorite and the singing was really fun! It was a JOY to watch my boys jumping and singing with hands raised and tears in their eyes for how much God loves them. Priceless moments for our family to experience together.
Our boys are beaming with love for this place!
The water slide was a hit! Glad we got to check it out!!

This is what summer is ALL about!!
 Here is the BIG swing!!
These boys are such a gift to us.

Rock wall and Zip line!! Every boy went and said, "That was easy!"
This first pic is Micah on the wall.
 Here goes Drew!
Caleb James!
And last but not least... Jacob Kyle climbed it like a pro and zipped right down that zip line with no hesitation. Crazy!
The high school students did an awesome job at welcoming our boys into the mix the entire week of camp. They played the big games in the afternoons and the night games after chapel and just had a blast with it all. This was skit night and the boy in the front is Max. Max has become our boys really good friend at camp. His family works at camp and they are such a neat family! The big guy in the boat is Drew and he was the boy's counselor while they were at camp. The 4 of these guys decided to be apart of skit night with a wonderful song of "row, row, row your boat!" It was something!!
One of our highlights was sitting around this fire each night. Kyle and I would build a fire after chapel and hang out here chatting with anyone who wanted to come hang out with us. It was different every night who would come talk with us about silliness or life. Sometimes students, counselors or staff... and most times a mix of it all. Being in community is such a beautiful thing as a body of believers.
It was a wonderful week at CPBC and a true favorite to our summer! God spoke to each of us at camp and we have lighter hearts, feel refreshed and focused on loving others for His Kingdom. We ask that you pray often for EACH of us as we serve God back home in Menomonie.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
1 Peter 2:9
