Last tourney for Micah+All Stars Tournament!

We have gotten so comfortable in our baseball life that we just know how to do things right! Micah and Drew played in some big tournaments a few weekends ago...take a peak at our set up below in the pouring rain, still managing to have a great time together! Homemade popcorn in a paper bag and watermelon, what more could you want? Life w boys!

With a loss that ended the season for our 10u boys, the coach had nothing but wonderful things to say to these boys. We have been so blessed by great coaches in Menomonie. Proud of you Micah for playing hard this year not only in the sport but as a great team mate. Daddy and I think you are a Star!

Heading to see Drew play in the All-Star tournament the next day was really nice as I wasn't sure I'd be able to see him play at all with Micah also playing. This all-star tournament is really an honor to be apart of and I am glad Drew had the opportunity to play in it this year. The Menomonie 11u team votes for 3-4 boys from their team they think deserve to play in the "all-star tournament" and then other 11u boys from the surrounding towns do the same on their teams to make up a solid team of boys together that go down to the cities to be apart of this tournament. They all wear their own jerseys so at times I got confused who was on our team!
Sadly, it poured rain and the game got called at the 4th inning, losing 7-9. We were all pretty bummed because it was so close! Thankfully they won both their games on Saturday so overall it was a really fun weekend.

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
