December days are flyin’!!🎄

These December days are flyin’ so I’m gonna make this a quick blog but wanted to highlight a few special moments for us!

Turning 40! It went really well because I got to celebrate with everyone I love so much. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by the most amazing people that support, encourage, pray for me and help me grow! So really 40 is no biggie when God places you in the right spot with the right people. 

So check out this delicious cake made by Amy! We had a fun night celebrating together🎉it was perfect to celebrate with some of my favorite people!

Subbing lately has been really fun.🤩I really enjoy the kids and visiting with the teachers and staff throughout my day! It’s a perfect job for me in this season.
Micah just makes me smile all the time. This is “the look” I receive from him often as we have our daily conversations about everything and anything. Teenagers are funny! Or are they exhausting?🤔😄
1st Snowy Run was so pretty and I was making the first tracks that morning! ❄️ Dec. 19th
Friday Donuts!🍩  it’s becoming a tradition to have donuts on Friday mornings! These smiles make it worth it. Our morning routine can get taxing by Friday so this really helps perk them up for a great day.😁
Christmas at Mom&Dads 🎄we really look forward to Christmas at my parents house! It’s nice to celebrate the weekend before because then it helps kickoff the Holiday Season! It was a great day with really yummy food and cookies! Thankful for all they do to make it a special day for us. 🎁 
🤣Who brings these weirdos to Christmas?! I think they should find a bigger couch.😉

Christmas break starts for us tomorrow! Looking forward to time together.🎄We are hoping to go

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
