Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

Another great week at Webb Lake!!! The boys are old enough now that they are remembering some of the fun traditions and memories we've made at this place and count down the days till we get to head out and spend a whole week relaxing with family!  Grandpa was patient enough to take us all out fishing in the mornings and we loved every chance to not only spend time with him but to catch fish too! We all took turns in the fishing boat and I loved this shot of the "big" boys! Caleb turned 3 years old while we were at the lake and we celebrated his party by having a bug hunt and eating dirt cake for dessert! These are our silly bug hunters! One of the reasons going to the lake is so special to me is because we are able to spend quality and quantity time with our family. My grandparents are still able to join us and my boys have such an awesome relationship with them solely due to having the chance to play and be with them each year at the lake! I love this pic...

 I had a great morning with Andrew and his Kindergarten class at the Environmental Site!!!  His friend Brady and Andrew were looking for tadpoles in the stream and we found a toad and lots of tadpoles!!!! So Fun!!! We were exploring all the things in the stream together in buckets... What a fun morning spent with my Big school boy! So special to spend time just with him and his buddies! We ate a great lunch together and enjoyed the warm sunshine. Such a special day!

We are so proud of our boys for memorizing Gods word this year in Awana!!! We are so glad that Menomonie offers this program as it gets them learning the importance of having Gods word in your heart and mind. Andrew memorized the whole new testament and can retell many of his bible verses memorized throughout the year!!! Way to go Drew!! Micah finished up his last year in Cubbies and will begin as a Sparky in the fall with Andrew. We are proud of Micah for just beginning to get into Gods word by memorizing pieces of or short bible verses this year!!! He was excited to fill up his whole blue Cubbie vest with patches! Way to go Micah!!! Caleb was able to join a group of young kids in a new program called Puggles where he sang about Jesus and talked a lot about Gods creation... He is already talking about what a big boy he will be when he can start Cubbies in the fall! As I dropped the boys off each week I would pray Proverbs 22:6 for each of them... HAVING FUN WITH JAKE!!!                         Jacob, we love you so much! You make us all smile and laugh as you learn more and more about the world around you! We love watching you sit on your own, eat rice cereal, try new veggies, roll over, babble and try to out talk your brothers and discover new toys! You are a delight to our family.

 Andrew fills my heart with joy everyday as I learn more about who God is creating him to be!  We love his sensitive, creative and hard working personality! One fun achievement for Drew this spring was making the 100 consecutive jump rope list at school!! He was the first Kindergartener to make the list! He was so excited to share this with us and we were quite impressed!!!  Andrew wrote me this note last week while I was in his classroom helping out.... He walked up to me and slipped this into my hand and said, "This is for you mom." I opened it up and couldn't help but feel so special to be his mom!!! These little moments are what makes being a mom so wonderful!!

Happy Easter Bubba!! What a fun morning to watch all the boys excitement about their Easter baskets! I love how Caleb has his outfit on from the bunny OVER his pjs:) After Micah looked over all his Easter candy this year he comes over to me and whispers, "Mom, I don't like any of the candy the bunny brought me." I respond, "What kind of candy were you wanting Micah?" Micah says, "Well bubble gum and tacos would have been nice!" Too funny!!! Micah, you always make us smile! A little before hand project of dying Easter eggs! We helped grandma and grandpa dye their eggs.... they looked pretty! Then we dyed eggs at home.... lots of bright colors!! Their favorite part was taking one egg and dying it in all the colors together! We found out it made an army colored egg! Spring Break 2012 "our adventures without daddy" The boys and I had a great week spending time with grandmas and grandpas over spring break while Kyle was in New Orleans on a mission trip! Here are a few photos of our week!!!  All the boys love helping grandma in the kitchen getting meals ready. Caleb loves helping grandma get things ready for breakfast!
