Soccer!

Image
These boys have so enjoyed soccer on Saturday mornings! It has been a great season!  Jacob scored lots of goals this year and thought it was great to get in there and play the game this season!  Caleb has had a blast with his best buddies in soccer and loves the fact that he gets to play soccer but also hang with his friends! He is very aggressive and scored 4 goals last game, helping the team win the game! Lots of parents always say "Wow, he's fast!" Love cheering for you bubba man! I loved this final cheer after the game last Saturday! Jacob will for sure be back in the fall! Great wrap up to spring soccer!!

Drew+final week of school!

Image
Hard to believe Drew is officially done with elementary school! Fun celebration last week as he wrapped things up at Oaklawn. Kyle and I smiled at his kindergarten picture, remembering him so well in those days. It really is crazy how fast time goes by! Here is our stud! We are so proud of him!! Excited for him to head to the middle school next year! His 5th grade celebration was really fun! So glad Drew has made such nice friends. Great double header in Stillwater last weekend! They won both games in the hot sun and we had so much fun with these boys! Great team and awesome season so far!!

Memorial Weekend!

Image
Memorial weekend was a nice time for our whole family to spend time together. These days have been so filled up with baseball that we really enjoyed getting out on the boat the 6 of us. Tainter lake is becoming a favorite spot for us to go and we enjoy having a few lakes to choose from! It has been fun to see Jake becoming more comfortable in the water! It will be fun to post a few pics of him wake boarding with daddy in the next few posts. Kyle and I are really looking forward to a fun summer with these guys. It will go crazy fast, so we are going to really focus on time with our 4 guys this summer. Our boating time looks very different then it used to with our baseball schedule. So we know we need to use every opportunity when we can to get out on the lake together! Kyle and I have decided to go out a little more on dates. We find it really helps to grab a few hours here and there to chat and connect. This season is loud and chaotic for us, so even a boat ride has been a treat! ...

May is flying by too fast~

Finally able to sit down and breathe a bit to catch up on our family events these days! So many great memories this spring~ Baseball: Drew played in a baseball tournament right by all our family! We were really excited that grandma and grandpa, nana and GG could be apart of a fun weekend cheering for Drew in Blaine, Mn! It wasn't the best weather with lots of rain and cold, but we had fun anyway! Best cheerleaders!!! Drew pitched great that weekend! We even got a picture with our baseball star...we were so proud of him. Love seeing these boys build friendship with each other! They are a great team and are becoming such great friends... including plenty of 5th grade boy silliness! The 5th grade boys took 3rd place, qualifying for the state tournament on July 21-23! Awesome job boys!!! Grandma and Drew! Proud grandparents! So glad they could watch Drew play. Zoo Day!: Jacob and I are soaking in as much time as possible these days before the brothers...

Spring moments you just can't miss out on!

Image
We jump from one sport or activity to the next very quickly these days, so I wanted to take a moment to highlight some fun spring memories made so far that you can't miss out on!  Micah's baseball season is in full swing and they are doing really well! Micah's favorite position is pitching and he is really good at it. He has one fast and strong pitch that has struck out many batters so far this season! Keep it up Micah!  Jake man wrapped up 4k last week and feeling pretty excited to start up kindergarten in the fall!  Drew's baseball team has had some tough competition this year but there's no stopping this Mustang team, they are winning many games even when the going gets tough! Drew is a great pitcher and short stop player. Again striking out many batters this season! The Gboys are crushing it at pitching!  Kyle and I went to the Pioneer Village Museum with Caleb last week and had a blast! Caleb has the greatest friends and we had a fun day together. ...

Mother's Day

Thankful for these boys and Kyle who always make me feel loved and appreciated. As a mom of 4 boys it can be so easy to lump them all together and love them as a whole, but I find that each boy and I hold a very special relationship that differs from boy to boy....  Micah Robert~sweetest heart and adds lots of spice to my life! You can really tell that he loves his momma by the way he hugs me and wants to do things together. He is also so thoughtful and looks for ways to help me around the house! This morning he cleaned up breakfast before church! Micah can also make any supper table discussion end up in laughter and lots of fun! He is so needed in this crew!  Caleb James~ a boy after my own heart. We are so much alike that we totally get each other. easily distracted, missing a few details on occasion, loving life and being simple. Caleb has a sensitive heart and enjoys anytime him and I can go for a bike ride, a jog around the hospital or have a little alone time. ...

Eau Claire Marathon 2017

Image
Beautiful morning to run the Eau Claire Marathon 2017!! Nice to have Linda and Chad join us for a fun racing weekend! Smiling not knowing the race about to begin would prove to be a real challenge for me... I'm always thankful for the ability to run and feel Gods glory on race day even when the race does not go the way I had planned or prepared. The course was very challenging to me considering the other marathons I have raced in the past did not ever come close to an elevation gain of 727 ft! Dang those hills in the 1st half!! This is around mile 22 and the legs were starting to burn! I wasn't looking too bad here though! It was so fun to see Kyle and the boys on the course like 8 times!!!! I loved their cheering and I knew I could totally finish this thing! This pic is heading into Carson park and just about to finish!! It was quite the journey, but I got it done!!! 3:38~comeback marathon time! Smiles to say, I completed it even when it got tough out there!! De...
