Mother's Day

Thankful for these boys and Kyle who always make me feel loved and appreciated. As a mom of 4 boys it can be so easy to lump them all together and love them as a whole, but I find that each boy and I hold a very special relationship that differs from boy to boy....
 Micah Robert~sweetest heart and adds lots of spice to my life! You can really tell that he loves his momma by the way he hugs me and wants to do things together. He is also so thoughtful and looks for ways to help me around the house! This morning he cleaned up breakfast before church! Micah can also make any supper table discussion end up in laughter and lots of fun! He is so needed in this crew!
 Caleb James~ a boy after my own heart. We are so much alike that we totally get each other. easily distracted, missing a few details on occasion, loving life and being simple. Caleb has a sensitive heart and enjoys anytime him and I can go for a bike ride, a jog around the hospital or have a little alone time.
 Jacob Kyle~ he's my partner! I have had the most time with him alone since the other boys are in school all day. Lucky boy to soak up time just w mommy all by himself! We have had lots of adventures together that have made such a sweet mark on my heart. Time with him has been a wonderful gift! He's truly our baby through and through!
 Andrew Marvin~ we're a perfect match! Drew and I have been a great team together since the day he could start talking and being my little buddy! Although not so little anymore, he's my right hand man. He is my helper around the house and with the brothers. He's got a lot to hold up to as the biggest brother but he is truly a star at it! Drew and I have such awesome chats about life, friends, God and now we're wrestling with the "why do I have tos" in life...but each day we are thankful we've got each other to do life with!
 Fun Mother's Day visiting mom and seeing my sweet sister in law Kara! So glad we could share some time together!
 I love this picture of Kyle and Terri! So thankful for her and how much she loves both Kyle and I and all our boys!
Great day celebrating our moms. It was really nice to see them and remind them how special they are! Being a mom is no easy task, but WOW is it Awesome!!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
