Beautiful morning running views once again! Sunrise in the Great Sand Dunes before heading to Mesa Verde for a quick stop. Loved doing 10miles with some MAF training, felt good to go quick!😁 Here are some Mesa Verde views from our day, it was pretty cool! Only bummer was we couldn’t get real close because they’ve closed a lot down with COVID but still fun to check out. It was a warm day and Kyle and I weren’t feelin’ it for cooking so we decided a Taco Bell stop for supper sounded perfect! We ordered inside, then setup our chairs outside. We had a great setup!    Our evening view from our site. Bonfire and chat time! We found out that Monument Valley/4 Corners is closed so last night Kyle found us a reservation in Pagosa Springs, CO for tomorrow. Sad to have to change plans but our site in Pagosa is next to the river! Excited to check it out!😊 As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! Joshua 24:15  

We headed to Alamosa, CO after saying goodbye to Kyle’s parents. We had a nice week with them, so nice of them to come and hang out with us.  It was another beautiful sunny day!☀️When we arrived at our RV site we decided to swim for a bit first since it was SO HOT!! 🥵 Jake mastered a backward flip on the diving board! Kyle and I are always so surprised how quick Jake catches on to things!  Love this pic of the guys lookin’ out at the pool. They LOVE water!! 💦   Headed to the Sand Dunes around 3p and picked up 3 boards to check it out!  This place was super cool, but we had to work so hard to enjoy it! To be honest, not our favorite spot. Boards worked, but not excellent. Definitely won’t be recommending this place. Super pretty though😍Glad we went to check it out. Got back to campsite around 6p and Kyle and the guys watched to Twins Game outside while we cooked up some brats. Sun was super warm until sunset, then cooled off nicely. I am convinced that the mornings here are always blue skies and sunny because every morning I’ve woken up to go for a run it has been so beautiful!☀️These Mountains!!😍🏔 It was a low key, paddle boarding kind of day. A bit windy for us but we made the best of it! The coolest part was an eagle soared over me as I was paddling, reminded me of my favorite verse: but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31   It was really a powerful moment, being in the mountains too.❤️🏔   Paddle boarding while soaking in this Mountain View was breathtaking, I kept telling the guys there’s no place I’d rather be! We headed back for a rest and shower time before Kyle and I went out for supper. Nana and GG were busy with the guys making supper! Beautiful start to my day running on the trails and daydreaming about fall running and 2021 running ideas!😜So hoping races are back on next year! My body is feeling so strong and ready to roll into the next plan, trying to hold back, being content where God has me right now. Check out these morning views from Buena Vista!! I hope I never ever forget all the amazing places I’ve run on this trip. When I get home and struggling getting back into my old routes again, I hope I can close my eyes and visualize this place.🏔❤️ When I got back I had a great breakfast with the guys and we packed up for a nice short hike with Nana and GG. Our beginning hike view on Lost Lake Trail. I love wildflowers and I saw so many of these purple ones, I think God was saying to me, “Hey, I love you!”  Not too far into the hike GG had to head back and not continue on the trail with us. Woke up ready for a fun day of rafting together! We went with Noah’s Ark rafting company and I’m really glad we did because it is a faith based company and so much fun hearing about our tour guides relationship with Jesus! It was really neat. We went rafting on the Browns Canyon section of the Arkansas River. Weather was cool in the morning and beautiful and sunny in the afternoon.☀️💦 The guys had a great day on the river! Glad I got to raft with my favorite guy!❤️ Stopped to do some cliff jumping! We have such crazy jumpers in this bunch. So many smiles all day! Great lunch spot and picture taking! So many fun conversations and laughs together. It was the perfect day for Kyle and I to be with our crew and amazing rafting guides. A fun day we will always remember in Buena Vista!! The guys had fun picking up shirts in the gift shop, I found a pretty cross ring. It was a fantastic day! We went back to our place, showered up, and headed out to a great pizza spot Elkhorn!   I hop...

Here we are ready to take on a full day in Buena Vista!! The boys are doing great still. Getting a bit anxious to see some friends now but trying to soak in this time we get to explore together. Our trip will be over before we know it.... off we go! Inside our Buena Vista home! Our first stop to see the mountains, it was chilly here!! So nice to have this time with Nana and GG❤️ We enjoyed a few waterfall stops along our drive.  Then we found our favorite spot, Devils Punchbowl! Check these fun cliff jumping pics out! May frame this one. After swimming, we came back to rest and eat tacos for supper. The sunset was so pretty after my evening walk. Here is our outside view of where we are staying. So beautiful, hard to imagine heavens gonna to be better then this! Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
