Friday Top5 including Micah 7on7 championships+post marathon+ LGCC pastors retreat+Drew's 14th birthday!!

 1. Micah's 7on7 team played in the championship game last Sunday and took 2nd place!! He had a great time and I wished I could have seen him play. It was really fun to hear all about it!
1. Time to Rest! After the marathon I went back to my parents and had fun telling my family all about the race. Then Kyle and I took off for a few days to the fall pastors retreat. It was a wonderful time away to rest. 
3. Post Marathon meal! After we got all checked into our room, I was starving and ready for food!! I ordered a cheddar burger and French fries and it tasted so good!!!
 4. LGCC Pastors Retreat! I am so glad I went. It was so refreshing for me to join Kyle at this conference. Each year looks different in who comes, but I found it really nice to connect with people but also rest and read on my own. I decided I am going to go every year if possible. 
Jamie and Kyle are such great friends and had a lot of fun together getting the conference kicked off in a fun way!!
The campus was really nice, restful, and quiet. 


 5. Drew's 14th Birthday! October 9th, 2005 was a very special year for us. Kyle and I became parents, the very best gift of all. He was born 6 weeks early but weighing 6lbs 4oz and he was perfect.❤️These years are going so quickly and I just can’t believe he is already 14!! We love his sweet, kind, thoughtful, encouraging personality each and every day! Cancun for supper to celebrate!!
A special surprise waited for him at home all day. It was fun to see him go into the garage to see his new bike!!
He loved it!! 🚵‍♀️ 
It has been a wonderful week. Thankful for Joy in doing fun activities, finding rest to refresh, and celebrating a very special boy!!
I am loving Fall!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
