Friday Top5!
1. Drew's football&sleepover party! These guys had a great time celebrating Drew last weekend. They came over and headed to the football game in Rice Lake, having pizza on their way! After the game they came over for the night to sleepover. In the morning I found them all playing football together! Drew is so blessed w great friends and brothers!
2. Jacob turns 8 today! Oct. 12th Jake turned 8 on Saturday which worked out perfect to include his friend birthday party the same day!! These guys play at recess together every single day so it wasn’t hard to entertain them! They enjoyed playing football, kick ball and basketball. Jake loved it!! He had a huge smile all afternoon.

 3. Flannel Fest+log rolling! Sunday was Flannel fest at church and it was an excellent turnout! Lots of music and a fun morning for everyone!! Kyle was a great sport at giving log rolling a try!😉
 4. Dad knee surgery. Dad had knee surgery last Tuesday so I drove down to sit with my mom during surgery. So thankful everything went really well and dad headed home Thursday. His leg is pretty sore still so prayers for a speedy recovery are needed.
 5. Living Water International's 2019 Gala in Houston! We were so spoiled! Kyle received an email of an amazing invitation to join Living Waters Annual Gala in Houston and we just couldn’t pass this up! I love traveling with Kyle and we so enjoyed the travel and meeting new people God placed before us for the two days we were gone. Ministry always is an adventure when God is orchestrating His great plan. I see God doing just that with Kyle and I right now as we continue down this new season!
The boys had no school Thursday or Friday while we were in Houston. They enjoyed time with Kyle’s parents making fun memories together hunting for treasure at the park, and doing the ropes course at MOA. We have also enjoyed home and the beautiful weather over this long weekend. The leaves are just gorgeous 🍁and the sunshine ☀️ so needed!!! It has been a wonderful weekend. ❤️

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
