Gettin’back In👊🏻😬

This week we’ve been gettin’ back in to life at home. It’s been a nice week connecting with friends and remembering what our home routine typically looks like. I think we’d all say, it’s been nice to be back!😃Check out how we’ve been adjusting back in-
Basketball time! Jake and Caleb went to shoot hoops for the afternoon with some buddies at St Paul’s Lutheran church, their low hoops are super appealing to these younger guys! Great afternoon.
Wednesday Night Water Wars! Caleb was so pumped to go to youth group for the 1st time and invited some friends to join him! The boys enjoyed having Kyle lead the event too.😀 Lots of water&mud!!
Beautiful sunsets this week in Menomonie, one of my favorite views on our summer trip, so this was Gods blessing to me in coming home.🥰
The boys have enjoyed roller blading this week! Micah and Caleb took an afternoon to blade across town and get icees! I love when they do things like this together. A few falls and cuts along the way, but nothing major😉

High School orientation complete!! Hard to believe we are parents to a high schooler already🤪Drew is so excited though, and we pray that he has a wonderful experience despite COVID-19 restrictions this year, that he has the full experience of school and learning that he deserves. Love you my big Drew man.
Strength routine back in action I’m trying to get my strength back after being gone so much this summer. My workout times are going to have to get done earlier as school approaches! Yikes, hoping I can stick to it. Feels good to get back into the normal.
That’s a wrap for us this week. Lots going on at church this week for Kyle as he is adjusting to home and figuring out how to do church with the many opinions and restrictions we have going on right now, prayers appreciated for him as he navigates and leads the church keeping his eyes ultimately on Gods leading. I pray Gods protection around Kyle and to bring him Peace for the many decisions he has to make right now. 🙏❤️

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
