Dillon&Keystone Colorado July 28th

Exploring new areas is becoming a real highlight for me on this trip. My runs in the mornings have been absolutely incredible.
Keystone, CO views

One of our favorite breakfasts on this trip has been bacon and eggs and fruit! Look at these cutiesπŸ₯°
The weather was unpredictable for us today but we decided to hook up with Rick and his son Anders for a hike, hoping to get in as much of the trail as possible!
I love listening to the conversations on the trail. Jake really enjoys hiking with Rick and eventually Jake had him carrying his backpack for him!πŸ˜† The guys like having him with us, glad he’s willing to hike Pikes Peak with us on Saturday before he heads home! It’s fun doing life together.
Anders and Drew taking a break, soon after this the rain started in...
So we made the decision to head back before the trails got too wet.
Great view and a fun morning hiking together!
Yeah, it got wet!! But thankfully we weren’t above tree line, and there was no thunder.
Drew’s new raincoat he bought in Manitou Springs worked great out there. Wishin’ we all had raincoats for this trip, something I’d pack and purchase for next time.
Headed back to the RV for food and rest time. It felt so good to take a nap and rest. Another rainstorm blew through and then the evening was really nice. We had a beautiful setup in Dillon CO.
Glad Bestie joined us for some silly conversations and a few rounds of Phase10 before we all got too chilly. The boys were getting antsy too so a few rounds is all we got in. Fun chatting and hanging out together.
Thankful for beautiful evenings after a rainy day.❤️
