Pagosa Springs, CO Aug 9th

PlanB thankfully worked out great! We arrived in Pagosa Springs early afternoon and decided to relax for a bit. It was a fun RV Campground with a river flowing by our site! The guys and I walked up and down the river for like 10minutes until they started screaming they saw snakes! 🐍😜Then our river walking ended, which I had to laugh how freaked out they were! They were just little snakes and I told them they wouldn’t hurt them but there was no changing their minds on this. The afternoon was very warm, the guys rested in the RV (staying clear of the snakes!😆), while I did some laundry and read my book. We ate an early supper and then headed into town to check out the hot springs.
This pool of water was Hot! It was so bizarre!! There were like 6 pools like this along the river. Cool spot!

These 4 were just laughing and talking together in the river, Kyle and I soaked up every minute watching them enjoying time together.❤️Blessed.
This time away is flying by so quickly, I am going to really miss our adventuring and time away. 🏔❤️However, God is preparing me for home and getting my heart lined up for what’s in store when I get back. Taking this time to sit and reflect on His goodness and love for me. His ways are so much better then mine and I will look to Him and seek Him with my whole heart heading home. Use me Lord, to bring others closer to you!

Look at these two cuties playing cribbage outside the RV together while the other guys were having a shower party at the bathroom together! Life with 5Guys. Pretty lucky lady I am!🥰

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
